Hi, I’m Selene Suarez, founder of The Best of U Events, based in the stunning mountains of the Vail Valley. Event planning has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. By the age of 12, I was already helping family members plan their special celebrations — designing centerpieces, organizing guest lists, sourcing vendors, and helping bringing their ideas to life. From the beginning, it was clear I had a gift for creating memorable moments, and it didn’t take long for me to realize that this was more than a passion — it was my calling.
With years of experience in the hospitality industry, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the art of planning thoughtful, seamless, and unforgettable events. After planning my own destination wedding and falling in love with every part of the process, I knew I wanted to help others experience that same joy. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a celebration with 350 guests, I understand what it takes to bring your vision to life with creativity, care, and precision.
My husband and I were both raised here in the Vail Valley, and we love calling this beautiful place home. In the summer, you’ll find us hiking and camping; in the winter, we’re hitting the slopes to snowboard. When we’re not planning events, we’re either enjoying a big bowl of pho, working out at the Westin, or simply enjoying the comfort of our couch and watching tv with 3-year-old Akita-Lab mix, Lyla, who fills our life with joy and adventure. We tresure the simple pleasures and profound bounds that define our jouney together.
